Handbook

Play. Learn. Grow.

A friendly guide to using Imagibox to help with talking, paying attention, learning new things, and understanding big feelings — all through play.

Let's go!
Hello there

Welcome to Imagibox

Every child learns differently — and that's wonderful.

Imagibox by BetterSpace

Imagibox was lovingly made by psychologists to support children with mild to moderate intellectual disability through fun, gentle, and just-right activities. Instead of worrying about getting things "right", Imagibox is all about exploring, joining in, and growing through play.

The activities help build four big superpowers

Language & Communication

Finding words, sharing ideas, and chatting together.

Attention & Perception

Looking closely, focusing, and noticing little details.

Conceptual & Adaptive Learning

Thinking, solving puzzles, and figuring things out.

Behavioural & Socio-Emotional

Understanding feelings and getting along with others.

For the grown-ups

Parents, Educators & Clinicians

Use Imagibox at home, in therapy, in class — wherever play happens.

Adapts to every child

There's no single way to play. Each activity flexes to fit the child in front of you:

  • Developmental level
  • Communication abilities
  • Attention span
  • Learning needs
  • Interests

The magic is in the moments of connection, curiosity, and trying.

Little tips

  • Model the first few sessions together.
  • Use as part of a daily wind-down routine.
  • No need to sit perfectly still — joining in counts.
  • Gentle, consistent practice helps most.

Emotional growth comes from repeated, gentle practice — not perfect stillness.
